First thing to point out is that I am a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan if you didn’t know it already and have been since I was young. A colleague and I were visiting recently about the nail biting win against the Raiders. I have seen some incredible games over the years but that win ranks up there as one of the best games I have seen. As the conversation continued, one quality that some teams possess and others don’t is their willingness to be relentless. The word relentless is just seen and brushed over but the word itself does have a deeper meaning.
This willingness to be relentless and be so driven toward your ultimate goal cannot be ignored. In fact, those who possess this extreme drive to be relentless in their endeavors have made Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs more than a spectacle but a reminder that when others give up perseverance will overcome. I have spoken of perseverance before but this display of ultimate relentless never give up till the clock expires drive is what makes we the driven stand out from crowd.
That relentless never give up drive is hard to possess and those who are willing to take the extra step forward understand that is what it takes to get what you want. Many settle for what they get but those who are relentless will get what they want.
